splendour fashion

With Splendour In The Grass hapening this weekend it got me thinking of all the different fashions you see at music festivals. There are the ravers with their wide legged jeans and glow sticks, teeny boppers with their Supre outfits, serial festival addicts dressed from head to toe in fluro and then the fashionistas who always seem to look amazing even when covered in sweat, mud and the dirtiness of a festival.
Alexa Chung is one of my faves when it comes to fashion and always manages to look amazing everywhere she goes. Definitely one to look at when choosing your next festival get up!

down the rabbit hole...

the fashion hits and misses of lady gaga continue to amaze me and keep me amused. It sometimes seems as though she has fallen down the rabbit hole and her whole perception of fashion has been turned topsy turvy. I love how she is so daring in the choice of her fashion and so carefree of everyone else's opinions. Some of her outfits go far beyond my style however she still seems to pull it off. She certainly is very influential in the fashion world, however I still haven't worked out if she would be classified as a 'style icon'...

igor + andre

ive just moved house and my mind is set on homewares and paintings to go on my bare walls. I LOVE fashion illustrations and especially illustrator Danny Roberts. He does amazing work and even though some of the girls in the pictures may look a little distorted he still manages to capture the beauty and innocence in every girl. The pastel colours that he uses gives the drawings a soft touch and makes them seem fragile. Gorgeous artwork from a true artist.
